The Jobraising / Employer Interest module is live on the Exchange Platform: hostanintern.iaeste.net
It allows employers who are interested in hosting an IAESTE intern to submit their interest directly through iaeste.net. The enquiry is then automatically routed to the relevant committee, where it can be reviewed and followed up.
The process is designed to make it easier to capture employer interest generated through your website, marketing campaigns, social media or direct outreach.
Important: An employer submitting the form is only the beginning of the jobraising process. The committee still needs to follow up personally, understand the employer’s needs and move the opportunity forward.
1. Employer starts on IAESTE.neT
On iaeste.net, the Register with us button leads employers to a page with two possible paths.
One option lets an employer express interest in hosting an IAESTE intern. It can also be accessed directly via hostanintern.iaeste.net
Employers do not need to prepare a full internship offer at this stage. The purpose is simply to register their interest and provide enough information for the local IAESTE committee to contact them.
To learn more about the Employer Account creation (not interest submission), see here.
The employer selects the relevant country / IAESTE committee and submits their details through the employer interest form.
This can also be used as a direct Call to Action in your employer marketing, for example: Interested in hosting an international intern? Register your interest with IAESTE: hostanintern.iaeste.net
Once the form is submitted, the enquiry is automatically connected with the selected committee
After submission, all NS/EA users registered under the selected committee receive an email notification.
The same enquiry also appears as a notification within the Exchange Platform.
This means committees should make sure that it is clear internally:
who monitors new employer enquiries;
who should respond;
how quickly the employer should be contacted.
Do not assume somebody else will follow up. Assign responsibility for monitoring incoming employer leads.
Committees can view submitted enquiries in:
Administration → Interested Employers
Open the relevant record to see the information provided by the employer.
This gives the committee the starting information needed for the first follow-up.
You can update the employer enquiry status directly in the record.
Use the status to show whether the lead has already been reviewed, contacted or moved further in the jobraising process.
This is particularly useful where several people in the committee are involved, as it helps avoid:
duplicate follow-up;
unanswered enquiries;
uncertainty about who is handling the employer.
The EP form should not replace direct jobraising.
Once an enquiry is received, someone from the committee should contact the employer personally to:
thank them for their interest;
understand what kind of internship or support they may need;
identify the relevant team or department;
explain how IAESTE works;
agree on the next step, ideally a short call or meeting.
From there, the employer can continue through the normal jobraising process:
Employer Interest → Personal Follow-up → Meeting / Call → Define Internship → Prepare Offer → Candidate Process
The Employer Interest Form hostanintern.iaeste.net can be linked from:
your committee website;
LinkedIn posts and campaigns;
employer newsletters;
employer presentations;
webinars;
alumni campaigns;
QR codes on flyers or event materials;
“Host an International Intern” campaigns.
The form helps convert general interest into a concrete lead, but the most important step remains the personal follow-up by the committee.
Marketing creates the lead. Jobraising develops the relationship.
